Derek Fernandez is a Junior at Perry High school. This is his first year in newspaper. He spends his time dancing as well as drawing and making art. He loves watching horror films, although his favorite movie is La La Land. Derek also has an interest in fashion and spends most of his money on clothes. His favorite activity is going out to the lake and kayaking. His favorite place to go on vacation is Colorado because he enjoys the scenery and the outdoors. He loves to drive his friends around and he goes to Dutch Bros. very regularly.
