Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas Honda Civic Future Now Tour: How birds of a feather sing together.

To say that 2016 has been a crazy-busy year for the 24-year-old singer-songwriter Demi Lovato would be an understatement. Between her latest album Confident released October of 2015, lawsuits, plus the hectic travel experience of performing on her new tour accompanied by her old pal Nick Jonas; Lovato continues topour her heart and baffle us at every show.

Now the Disney starlet has collaborated  with old friend and coworker Nick Jonas. With a friendship dating back to 2008, it is more than clear these two have a real chemistry that made this tour so genuine.

With the love of music and performing these two shares and the break up between Lovato and long-term boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, it is a match made in heaven for Jonas and Lovato right. Well both singers have made it more the clear that they are just friends and it will never be more than that.

The atmosphere of the arena was incredible, we were all anticipating a good time. People at every corner, with the welcoming smell of popcorn and fan-girl.

Opening for Lovato and Jonas was Mike Posner, mainly known for his chart topper I took a pill in Ibiza. Posner performed every song acoustic, either on piano or on his six-string. This gave that gave a raw and stripped effect to his music that was very admirable. While the audience was not familiar with some of his music, you saw a spark in Posner’s eye that showed his passion for his songs and the lyrics behind him. He often goes underrated, even though we came for Demi and Nick; Mike definitely made a memorable impression.

Nick Jonas kicked off the main show, performing some of his recent hits such as Jealous, Levels and one of his most recent Closer. Jonas’s music just makes you want to get up and dance, with groovy beats and snazzy rhythms that make your hips move. Overall, very upbeat, Jonas even surprised old fans of his iconic Disney times with  the Jonas Brothers with an acoustic performance of who I am one of  his old hits.

Jonas continued to entertain the audience, with his not only amazing voice and stage presence; he performed his song Bacon, which was just a sight to see. With graphics of sizzling bacon on the screens behind him and the group of audience members that were invited to wear bacon costumes and dance on stage with nick. I could not help but laugh and dance along to the music, especially when one of the dancing bacon’s was Demi herself twerking on stage.

After Nick’s set Demi took stage, opening with her single Confident, Lovato turned the energy up with her sassy stage presents and unbelievable vocals. After a shout out to her Lovatics, she warmed our hearts with and acoustic saw performance. We saw a soft side of her when she sang an emotional performance of Warrior and Nightingale along with Skyscraper, witch without a doubt brought a tear to my eye. As I was hysterically crying on my friends shoulder, Demi spoke up with a motivational and heart felt speech about self-worth and mental illness. This happens to be something Lovato is a big advocate for, having dealt with such issues. Demi not only knows how to get a party started with her hot songs like Body say, but also has an emotional and genuine side that speaks through her lyrics and spectacular vocals. Lovatos Vocals are mind blowing, performances like Stone cold witch show off her baffling vocal range are just superb.

Overall the concert was an amazing experience and something that is will remember forever, and after my crazy fan girl side bought over one hundred dollars in Demi merchandise, and buying my tickets almost a year in advance, I can honestly it was well worth it.
