StuGo hosted their annual Perry Idol performance on Friday, Jan. 20, where students auditioned, practiced, and then performed in front of a panel of three judges and an audience of their peers.

The talent show started out with a dance number mash-up performed by StuGo followed by several musical performances, including CJ Morazan singing and playing the piano, Aubrie Fowler playing the cell, and Isabella Gutierrez, Erin Stradling, and Jenna Niedens singing. After an intermission, Carver Davenport, Dax Gardner, Sam Myers, and Dominic Gomez of the band Getaway Driver performed two original songs; Sofia French and Bethany Johnson on the piano also performed an original song “Superman.” Sarah Lee and Alice Leblanc also sang, and Tyler Park performed on the piano.

After a small break, the judges awarded the band Getaway Driver third place and Jenna Niedens second place. The first place award went to Tyler Park. The winners were awarded plaques and congratulated by the other performers and members of the audience.
