As spring break approaches, StuGo is making preparations for what many seniors view as the most important weekend of the year: prom.  

While last year’s prom theme was “My Heart Will Go On”, based on the Celine Dion Song from “Titanic,” on Feb. 18, StuGo announced this year’s theme to be “Field of Dreams.” It will be held in the courtyard at Salt River Fields.

Along with prom, StuGo has planned their third annual dodgeball tournament for April 11, which is the day before the dance.  This is an opportunity for upperclassmen attending prom, underclassmen, and students who don’t attend school dances to get involved in school spirit. The winning team wins a money prize that will be determined by how many teams sign up. It is $40 for each team to register, essentially $5 per person. Teams must register by April 4 and have at least two girls in order to participate.
