    Boys soccer (6-5-3) faced off against Val Vista rivals the Basha Bears (6-1-4) this Wednesday .Falling short to the bears, Perry lost 1-0.

    This is the second match against the Bears for boys soccer. The previous game on Dec. 14 resulted in a win over the bears 2-0.  This last match brings Perry to a record of 6 wins, 5 losses, and 3 games ending in a tie.

    With this defeat behind them, boys soccer gear up for their next match against the Desert Ridge Jaguars on Jan. 9.

    Damien Tippett, Adviser
    Damien Tippett is in his 11th year as adviser to the Precedent student newspaper. In addition to the newspaper, Tippett also teaches sophomore English and is the school's varsity baseball coach. He is also a husband and father to two young boys, and his family lives in Gilbert.
