Perry’s Best; Football
Alec Monte started the football season as the backup quarterback. However, a few games into the year, he was pushed into the starting quarterback role after the original starter suffered a season ending injury. Monte had a productive year at quarterback recording a completion percentage of .501.
Monte was named All-Section Two-Way Player of the Year for his play at quarterback and safety. He showed great leadership on and off the field while persevering through playing almost every snap in every game.
