New Starbucks drinks will help you survive finals
The end of the school year is in clear view, but with the impending threat of finals blocking the path, it is hard to believe we will ever reach it. Just like Mario needs a Power-Up Mushroom, high school students need their own pick-me-up: coffee.
Sure, Dutch Bros has many sugary delights, but Starbucks has been pushing themselves even harder to bring you drinks to be excited about. Meet your new study buddies:
- The Narhwal Frappuccino
Yes, it seems as though Starbucks has crossed the line or even gone mad with all of their strange creations. However, this drink is quite refreshing and delicious. It is an even blend of strawberry lemonade, green tea powder, and vanilla bean powder. Sweet and sugary, this mystical drink will keep you cool even as you tackle preparations for finals.
- The Mermaid Frappucino
Order it like this: a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with freeze-dried blackberries and toasted coconut matcha sauce drizzle. Yum! The recipe was created by a barista who was searching to fill the void the absence of the Unicorn Frappuccino left in her heart and stomach. Well, this captivating burst of color and flavor has sure done it!
- The Pink Drink
This drink has been added to the menu nationwide, so say goodbye to the bothersome ordering its of ingredients. It contains Strawberry Acai Refresher, freeze-dried strawberries, and coconut milk. It tastes like what a spring day feels like!
- The Dragon Frappuccino
A green tea frap with berry cup swirl and vanilla bean powder…need I say more? Even better, the caffeine intake is ramped up, giving you the strength to stay up into the late hours studying!
- Midnight Mint Mocha Frappuccino
The enticing creation was inspired by a starry night in the cool breeze of a warm summer. Made with cocoa, whipped cream, and mint sugar crystals, it is as enchanting as the scene it was created from.
Starbucks is now offering a Happy Hour from 3p.m. to 6p.m., ending May 14. Get your drinks half off between those hours; it may be the perfect time to start cracking down on those study guides!
