Saydie Herbert part of class 2026, and recently committed to Michigan state. Saydie is part of the varsity soccer team, and recently November 11th made the team for the 24-25 year soccer season. She started playing soccer when she was 3 years old, and played for the JV team in 22-23, then first moving to varsity during the mid 22-23 season, placing her for varsity soccer right now and for the 24-25 season.
She currently is #49 in Arizona with thirteen asst, #126 thirty three points, and #399 Nationally with thirteen asst. She won many of the “player of the match” awards during last season, and she is feeling good about this upcoming season, saying, “I am feeling pretty good about this season. I can’t wait to start playing and with the open this year we will get the chance to play many different teams and great competition.”
As for her new team, she said, “I feel good about our team this year. It is going to be a challenge because we have an even mix of old players and new young players but I believe we can handle it to create an unstoppable team. I plan on winning with my team this year!!”
Saydie committed to Michigan State University division one on September 3, 2024 for club soccer from Utah Royals for Arizona, she switched because “I committed to Michigan state because I loved everything about it. The coaches are absolutely incredible and the team was amazing. I fell in love with the school itself and even the state. They also provided everything I would need to play soccer in my future.”
Michigan State is known for its strong athletic programs and good academic performances and classes. The university offers an athletic program that will help provide her with training facilities, good coaching staff members, good teammates, and competitive environments to help her achieve her goals while also helping with her academic career as well as a student athlete. Michigan state department will help support Saydie’s education and career planning for her future, helping her find colleges and get accepted into the college of her choice.
