Battle scars, piles of homework, and lots of training. This is what the Girls Varsity Soccer team endures during a typical season .

It was all worth it, the girls are on their way to state.

They may be tired and  they might just want to stop and rest. However, the encouragement they receive from their coaches and teammates pushes them further.

The girls make sure that no matter what, they have eachothers back.

To top everything the coaches’ encouragement for them is inspiring.

When speaking to Coach Boone she explained how much these girls and coaches make sure they are all living to their potential.

“We just remind them of their goals. Their goals to get to state.” she commented “This year we talked about the wisdom of geese. When geese fly, they fly in formation and so we talk about the bird in front and he’s the leader and all the other birds are uplifted and then another bird takes a lead.”

She continued to talk about the different roles the girls do to help each other because they can’t do it alone.

The coaches really push themself to make sure theses girls meet their potential. Boone explained how seeing them succeed is just exciting for her.

It’s important that these girls stick together and work together to be able to tackle their final game.

With the help they get the girls manage to have the same mindset in and out of the locker rooms. They are structured and they work just as hard in the weight room.

The girls being committed is just helping them take bigger steps to be ready for state.

With the support of loving friends and family it will just top everything for these girls to have the encouragement to keep on going.
