JV softball team has perfect season
The JV softball team completed the year with a perfect 18-0 record. The girls played exceptionally well, beating some great teams. They had multiple shutout wins, with one of them being a 20-0 pounding of Mountain Pointe.
Perhaps their most important asset was their offensive ability. The team scored a total of 229 runs and only allowed 29 runs to be hit in against them. On top of this, they averaged 13 runs a game.
Each and every player contributed to this pronounced season. With this kind of talent possibly moving up to varsity, PHS softball will be a contender for years to come.
