Girls basketball continues to struggle
The girls’ varsity basketball team has been on a seven game losing streak since the middle of December. Their last victory came against Gilbert (52-35) on Dec. 13. The Lady Pumas have been struck with scoring problems and have been missing the great play of senior Rachel Amerine who has missed multiple games with a foot injury. Despite the losing streak, the Pumas have a great chance to go back to winning ways with multiple opponents left that have also experienced a lack luster year. However, the team and Coach Kearsley close the year out with some tough competitors in Highland and Hamilton.
