Macs are top quality for business
Ah, the ancient and epic battle of Mac versus PC; Where enthusiasts from two completely different worlds get together and blog about how terrible the other groups’ software is, truly a liberty that our Founding Fathers fought for. However, today, I side with the Mac users in this ongoing “Battle of the Softwares.”
The most obvious feature about Macs is their inability to contract viruses. Many PC users, however, will immediately dismiss this claim and explain that, with upgrades, the PC is even less likely to contract viruses than a Mac computer.
Congratulations blowing off several hundred dollars on programs that only make your laptop “less likely” to get viruses.
A PC that matches the basic model that Mac has to offer, is approximately the same price because of the extra software and other upgrades that one must buy as opposed to just buying a Mac for the same price and having the same, if-not better, hardware.
Sure you can buy a basic PC for around $300 and then upgrade it, but wouldn’t you rather pay the price up-front instead of paying for the upgrades which may or may-not already be used? Looking for these upgrades can be a time-consuming process, not to mention, expensive. Knowing what parts of the computer are a necessity to upgrade takes lots of research and general computer “know-how”.
PC users love to counter that the computer gaming industry is not supported by Macs. In reality, Macs are not meant for gaming. If you want a gaming device, then yes, PC would be your best bet. Macs are made for people who use it for business matters as opposed to gaming. Seriously, if you want something done right, buy a Mac. It really is the ultimate business computer.
