Slate Bistro and Bar offers classy dinning for the sophisticated

Tucked into the side of Trilogy Golf Course off of Val Vista Drive and Power Ranch, Slate Bistro and bar is a quaint place to feast. Catered to the sophisticated, Slate Bistro and bar is considered classy and tasteful.
On special occasions, a live music performance can be heard throughout the dining area performed by Slate regulars Lawrence and Les Koel. Theses talented musicians liven up the room and get the dinner patrons out of their seats and dancing
On a weekly basis, Breakfast can be served from 7 am to 10 pm with food delicacies such as a Build-Your-Own- Breakfast where eggs, ham, sausages, oatmeal, and toasts can be served. Breakfast burritos, omelets, and breakfast sandwiches can also be found on the breakfast menu.
Thursday and Friday nights, Slate offers special dinners to the club house patrons as well as public guests. Thursday specials include a pot roast with steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes rivaled to Friday’s prime rib meal also served with veggies and mashed potatoes.
The food is expertly prepared, with the prime rib smoked to perfections and the vegetables steamed with flavor. The mashed potatoes are the prized pig, however. Slathered with specialty gravy, the mashed potatoes are flavorful, delicately presented, and skillfully crafted.
However, slate is not just a paradise to the golfers who frequent Trilogy Golf Course. Saturday evenings from 3 pm to 10 pm are saved for wedding parties. Brides, Grooms, and family members of all ages, travel from far away places to celebrate a union of marriage.
With an excellent bar staff, specialty drinks for adults are skillfully poured while creative non-alcoholic drinks are prepared for children and teenagers under the legal drinking age. Drinks like a Rosy Palmer (equal parts lemonade, sweet tea, and cranberry juice) and a Kiddy Cocktail (renamed Shirley temple) , are excellent substitutes for children’s drinks.
