Our take: Let Tiger roar
Tiger Woods is one of those athletes who dominates no matter what. Before 2009, Woods was ranked No. 1 for seven consecutive years and won fourteen major championships.
Ever since the scandal in 2009, people’s expectations for Woods have been the highest ever seen for an athlete and this question is continuously asked; is Tiger back?
The answer is yes. Since 2010, Woods has won eight different times which is the most wins a player has since 2010. If you win eight times in four years, how are you not considered to be back?
Experts say Woods is not back because he has yet to win a major championship in the last four seasons. People believe once he wins the Masters or the Open Championship, he will be considered back to the old ways.
The fact is that Woods has been back ever since he teed off at the 2010 Masters. We need to give him a break. The man has won multiple times and still is the most dominant athlete in sports today.
