The Perry Dance Concert. The last concert of the year, and the last concert for many seniors. Although the performances may be emotional to the audience, they are even more emotional to the dancers. Some even began crying after the show. The Perry Dance Concert is an event that dance classes, from beginning to Moveo, look forward to every year.

Sophomore, Alexis Watson, is a member of the Moveo Dance Company and this is also her last year on the Moveo Dance Team.

“Being on Moveo has changed my highschool experience because it has brought me many great friendships with people that I can depend on, no matter what happens throughout the day.” Watson states.

Moveo Dance Company is one of the more advanced tiers of the dance classes at Perry. Moveo performs at assemblies and dance concerts throughout the year.

“This dance concert was so emotional for everyone because we’ve grown so close as a team this year and we’re sad that all five of our seniors are leaving.” Watson continued. “Everyone feels like our whole team is dispersing and nothing will ever be the same.”

Each year, the dance department never fails to impress the audience with their phenomenal performances.
