CUSD website gets a new look
Over the duration of fall break, the Chandler district’s website was modified, giving it a new look and new features. The update includes a sidebar of site shortcuts, a list of upcoming district events, and a sidebar of video highlights.
Though it’s unknown why the website was altered, some agree it was time for a change. Assistant principal Heather Patterson claims it is more user friendly, “its easier to find things and I think that was one of the reasons [that they changed it].”
A set of icons that link users to Infinite Campus, tax credit information, and more have been the biggest improvement according to Admin Assistant Donna Murdock. “I think they tried to simplify it; they made it more parent friendly,” she says.
The website has greatly improved within the last few years and is far more attractive than before. Principal Dan Serrano agrees the change benefits the district, “Its actually a lot better than it was a few years ago.”
The enhanced website has given parents and students easier access to frequently visited links and more information on the schools in the district and upcoming events.
