As the weather gets warmer, more and more buzzing organisms infiltrate our lives, and on Tuesday, April 30, a swarm of bees decided to make an appearance on campus.
The swarm was found in the morning, assembled on a tree outside senior counselor Scott Uyeshiro’s office, mere steps from the main entrance of PHS. After contacting support services, administration was informed that the swarm would leave that evening, as swarms typically do.
Yet Wednesday morning, the bees continued to thrive outside the building. The custodial and security teams blocked off the area and have been keeping watch on the situation to ensure the swarming creatures do not distract or bother students.
