The school is kicking off the new year with a big change: a new team at the front desk. This dynamic trio aims to support the front office for the new year, consisting of Danny Moreno, Nancy Martino, and Trisha Stall, who have all been a part of the Perry community previously.
Danny Moreno, the administrative clerk, has previous experience as a security guard. Moreno claims “You students are a step up in my life, it’s much more fun working with you guys.” Moreno expressed how students’ interactions gives him hope for the future of our society. When asked what makes working here fun after stating as such he states “I never know what to expect when I’m talking to students and the surprise always makes my day.”
Nancy Martino, the receptionist, has worked in education for 38 years. She said it excites her to be able to help students achieve their goals. That “It’s home, no matter if you’re having a bad day or if you’re having a really good day. You come here to share it, you come here to see your friends, to get help from a teacher, etc.”
Trisha Stall, the school’s counseling department secretary, previously in the athletic department for 11 years. Stall revealed “I have a passion for helping students… Now with this position I get to work with the general population of students.” She elaborated how she enjoys helping students and learning more about them.
As the school year progresses, the front office staff is dedicated to making the school a welcoming and supportive place, where everyone is valued and helped. With their experience and passion, they are sure to make a positive impact in the daily activities on campus and the general feeling of the school.
