Perry’s Best: Volleyball
Jalen Cross started volleyball as a freshman and had a lot to work on through his years in volleyball. He started with many of the other top state players such as Alex Berghorst and Mitch Harris and trained by Brian Pomerantz. Cross pushed himself to become a top player in state- 2nd in blocks, 5th for kills, and 9th for hitting. He is a leader to other other boys on the team, is the Middle hitter, and has given the team motivation to continue in the hardest games. Jalen motivated other players in games to do their best and overcome opponents that seemed unbeatable.
