While we are waiting for quarantine to be over the only thing we can really do is sit back and wait. So, while we’re waiting we might as well watch some classic movies. The 80’s is one of the best generations for movies. SO here are the top ten 80’s classics to watch during quarantine.
10: The ‘Burbs
The ‘Burbs, starring the one and only Tom Hanks is a mystery comedy. The movie has a hilarious cast. The film follows Tom Hanks and his fellow neighbors in an investigation of the new family on the street. This movie might not be the best to watch in quarantine though. Overall, The ‘Burbs is a hysterical movie everyone should watch at least once.
9: Top Gun
Top Gun is one of the most well-known films of the 80’s. It has great action scenes and a fantastic cast. However, Top Gun is pretty sad. The film has an incredible soundtrack. If you are going to watch Top Gun you have to really like Tom Cruise. In my opinion, the movie should have featured Val Kilmer more. Overall, Top Gun is a good cheesy 80’s movie.
8: Back to the Future
Back to the Future is an amazing movie. The cast worked fabulously together. It also has a really great soundtrack. The movie has a totally original and creative plot. The script is perfect The film is absolutely hilarious. Not to mention the sequels are pretty good too. Marty McFly is a completely relatable character. Overall, Back to the Future is a fantastic movie.

Ghostbusters is one of the best 80’s movies by far. The movie is action packed. The special effects are really good for the 80’s. Ghostbusters, has one of the funniest casts in history. The movie was casted and written perfectly. The dialogue is totally hilarious. Ghostbusters is the type of movie that everyone likes. This movie is fantastic and everyone should watch it at least once.
6: Clue
Clue is by far one of the best mystery movies ever. It has an incredible story line. The cast did an absolutely amazing job. Not only is Clue totally suspenseful it is also hilarious. There is not a dull moment in the entire movie. The movie will constantly have you on your toes. The ending is completely unpredictable. Clue is one of the most suspenseful movies ever.
5: The Goonies
The Goonies is one of the best 80’s classics. The cast was phenomenal. The movie shows true friendship and teamwork. The movie does have a bit of a slow start but it picks up just as quickly. The Goonies is an absolutely hilarious movie. The movie is perfect to watch for all occasions. You should definitely watch The Goonies.

War Games is one of Matthew Broderick’s best movies. It has a great cast. The plot is totally original and entertaining. However, the movie does have an incredibly slow start. The movie is truly hilarious. Not only is the movie hilarious but it also has some hidden messages. You should definitely give War Games a chance.

License to Drive is the perfect movie to watch when getting your license. The movie has a totally amazing cast. License to Drive is action packed. The stunts are fantastic. Not only does the movie have a great plot but it also has an incredible script. The movie shows the importance of getting your license in high school. You should totally watch License to Drive.

Real Genius is one of Val Kilmer’s best movies. It is an absolutely hilarious movie. Even though this movie is a total comedy, it also shows the importance of friendship. The movie has a fantastic cast that did a great job. You can watch Real Genius multiple times and it never gets old. The script is one of a kind. Real Genius is by far one of the greatest movies ever.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is the best movie ever created. The movie has a perfect cast. There is nonstop action throughout the film.
