Top 10 shows to binge during quarantine

During quarantine there are very few activities we can do while stuck at home. Luckily t.v. has been there to entertain us in this dull time. However, what shows are we supposed to pick? There are a ton of options on what to binge, but here are the top ten shows to endlessly binge during quarantine or add to your binge list. 

 10: Once Upon A Time 

         This show is great for Disney fans everywhere. Once upon a time offers a new perspective on the beloved Disney classics. It also has a great cast that really brings the show to life. Even if this show has some horrible jokes it is still worth binging. However, do not watch the very last season because it is tragic and useless to the plot. 

9:  Gossip Girl 

         This 2007 classic is perfect for binge watching. It has everything from family drama, to rich people drama. Basically, this show is full of highly entertaining drama. I mean who doesn’t like to watch a good cat fight? This show may seem trivial, but as the seasons go on you begin to appreciate almost all of the characters. The show is full drama and amazing friendships. Warning, Gossip Girl will make you miss your friends, Gossip Girl should definitely go on your binge watch list. 

8: Sherlock Holmes 

         Sherlock Holmes is an action-packed mystery series. Sherlock and Watson will constantly have you on the edge of your seat. Benedict Cumberbatch does an amazing job recreating the beloved, arrogant, genius. The show is full of humor and mystery. The show is nonstop action making it perfect for binge watching. If you haven’t seen Sherlock Holmes it must go on your binge-watching list. 

7: Agent Carter

         Agent Carter is one of the most amazing Marvel characters. This show is absolutely perfect for all Marvel fans. The show also demonstrates the struggles of women in the workplace. Agent Carter provides an in-depth view of the character Peggy Carter and her life after Steve. The show is full of great characters and an even better plot. You should unquestionably watch Agent Carter during quarantine. 

6: The X-Files 

         The X-Files follows two headstrong F.B.I. agents in their journey of discovering the government’s secrets. The X-Files is an amazing show that makes you question reality. It is highly entertaining. However, some of the episodes are terrifying. The cast was perfect just like the plot. But beware you will possibly believe in aliens after binging The X-Files.  

5: The Simpsons

         The Simpsons is a hysterical comedy that will have you laughing for days. The show is full of humor from politics to celebrities. The Simpsons has something for everyone after all it parodies pretty much every movie. The Simpsons also has great holiday specials. The Simpsons also has a movie going along with the series. The Simpsons has thirty-one seasons to binge so you better get started. 

 4: Day Break 

         Day Break in short is a Lord of the Flies meets Zombieland comedy. Day Break is a spectacular show full of plot twists. The show is also full of beautiful friendships as well as crazy zombies. The show is perfectly cast and absolutely hilarious. The show will have you laugh and cry. This show is perfect for binge watching. Beware, we are still waiting for season two. However, this fantastic show should still go on your binge list. 

 3: Criminal Minds 

         Criminal Minds is a thriller based on the work of the F.B.I.’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (B.A.U.). The show has an extraordinary cast and plot. The show has everything from murder mysteries to terrorist attacks and everything in between. This show does have some gruesome scenes, so do not binge watch with young siblings. The show is suspenseful and action packed. Criminal Minds should definitely be on your binge-watching list.

 2: The Umbrella Academy 

         The Umbrella Academy is essentially about a group of superheroes with major daddy issues. The show is full of action and drama. The cast was utterly perfect. The Umbrella Academy not only has an astounding plot but also a great soundtrack. The show also demonstrates the importance of family and the danger of secrets. You should definitely binge The Umbrella Academy before season two is released.

         Stranger Things is a sci-fi thriller, comedy, set in the 80’s. The show has a spectacular cast and an insane plot. This show does have some horror elements so it is not recommended for younger siblings. Stranger Things exhibits the meaning of friendship. The show is also insanely hilarious. Stranger Things has everything from action, to friendship, to a perfect soundtrack. Stranger Things should definitely go on everyone’s binge list.
