Buy Video Games For a Small Cost
Some gamers seem to have rushed to the conclusion that being short on cash means that they are to go deprived until funds come in. However, if archaic graphics are not a deterrent from playing some games, then there are some great alternatives to spending $59.99 (not including tax) on a new release. So, in the interest of money, here are the best 4 games that will not break the bank.
4. Fallout 3 (Ps3, Xbox360, PC) Fallout revolves around a kid that is born in a nuclear fallout shelter. He is forced to leave and is left to explore the vast world the game developers created. The main reason to play Fallout 3 is to explore; there is so much to do whether it is a side quest, the main story, or just exploring. Despite getting criticized for making players repair weapons, it is not difficult to work around, and adds to the realism of the game.
3. Dead Space 2 (Ps3, Xbox 360, PC) If sleep or sanity is not part of the equation, Dead Space 2 is a great thrill. If played in the dead of night there will be several times where there is no choice but to just put the game down for a bit. There are numerous jump scares that are set up so well they are rarely seen coming. The atmosphere is very science fiction influenced; it takes place on a space station where the main character tries to survive an onslaught of aliens. Dead Space is in a third person perspective, which may bother some players, but there are no camera glitches to speak of.
2. Borderlands 2 (Ps3, Xbox 360, PC) This series revolutionized first person role playing games by introducing an entirely new approach to the concept. Rather than attempting to use realistic graphics similar to Fallout, Borderlands utilizes a much more comic-book style appearance. Other than the style, this game boasts hundreds of thousands of different guns and also has 4 different playable character types. The amount of choices make it easy to choose a style of play that suits the player. The final boss is notably hateable and makes it difficult to put the game down until the final confrontation.
1. Bioshock (Ps3, Xbox 360, PC) This beautifully crafted first person shooter may date back to 2007, but it still holds up. The gameplay is innovative and introduces certain abilities, called plasmids, which allows the player to shoot lightning, hornets, fire, or many other elements from their fingertips. However, even with the introduction of these new abilities, Bioshock shifts between guns and whatever secondary power is equipped with no issue. This game is exciting, fun, challenging, and an obvious 10/10.
