Food review: Moreno’s Mexican Grill
Moreno’s Mexican Grill is serving up authentic Mexican burritos, crispy tacos, and fresh salsas. This restaurant adds a unique Mexican flavor to the valley. Moreno’s has four valley wide locations including Mesa, San Tan Valley, and two Chandler locations, one in Downtown Chandler and the other on Gilbert and Germann. It also takes on the name of The Gecko Grill in . Gilbert.
Customers can walk in and automatically feel like they are in a Mexican restaurant. Mexican music plays in the background while guests munch on chips and salsa.
In addition to their regular tomato salsa, they also serve refried bean dip and a sweet, yet spicy, tomatillo salsa.
Their award-winning sonoran style hot dog keeps customers wanting more. A soft, sweet bun topped with beans, grilled onions, bacon, tomatoes, jalapeno sauce, mustard and mayo. This is a winning combination and has a one of a kind taste. It is definitely something you would not expect a Mexican restaurant to be serving.
However, something to always expect is a hearty burrito. A popular burrito is the Moreno’s Burrito, a large burrito that fills your stomach to the max. They fill the burrito with tender meat, beans, rice with cilantro, and onions topped with enchilada sauce.
Moreno’s is also serving favorites from the sea. Their fish tacos are another popular item and a crowd pleaser.
The fish taco has juicy meat with savory seasoning that has just enough heat. It is served on a warm tortilla with cabbage, cilantro, and onion. This taco has a fresh taste and outstanding flavor.
As well as great dishes, they give affordable prices. Most of the dishes on the menu are less than ten dollars. The food tastes even better when a great price is attached to it.
Moreno’s Mexican Grill is an exceptional Mexican restaurant that should be visited every time a good burrito or taco is craved. It is definitely, as they call it, “habit forming.”
