Show Title: WandaVision

Genre: Comedy with a touch of action/drama

Where to Watch: Exclusively on Disney+

Cast: Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn

Synopsis: “Marvel Studios’ ‘WandaVision’ blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems”, according to Disney

My Rating:11/10

Episode One: “Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience”

What I Loved: Wanda and Vision’s powers were stylized to the 50’s era with animated sparkles etc. This was a great introductory episode that sets the comedic tone for the series while subtly bringing in the Marvel-esque drama and suspense.

What I Hated: I wish that there were more easter eggs and hints as to what is really going on. 20 minute episodes are too short, I want more!

Episode Two: “Don’t Touch That Dial”

What I Loved: I absolutely loved the sixties era style this episode took on (even the intro credits change to fit the theme!). The tone shifts between scary and silly are really well executed and make the two genres mesh together.

What I Hated: Waiting a whole week for a new episode.

Episode Three: “Now in Color”

What I Loved: The seventies aesthetic was perfect (every single era is better than the last). There were more moments that directly hinted what’s going on underneath the surface which was very exciting.

What I Hated: Agnes (Kathryn Hahn’s character) wasn’t very present in the episode, there was more of a focus on Geraldine (who’s pretty cool but Agnes is my favorite).
