Everyone loves a reason to party. Because of this, once ignored holidays such as St. Patrick’s Day have been amped to a level farther than initially intended to celebrate. Nonetheless, it is a reason to jubilate and enjoy some amazing music.

The Pot of Gold music festival held in Chandler has become an annual St. Patty’s Day tradition for some locals as it provides a fun, carefree activity on the holiday. Held at Rawhide Western Town and Event Center, the festival will occur March 17 and 18.

This years lineup includes rap artist G-Eazy as well as punk rock bands Flogging Molly, Death Cab for Cutie, Sublime and many more. The festival consists of two stages that will be alternating between acts from the time the first band begins at noon lasting until midnight.

The festival will also encompass an array of food trucks, local retails artists, and venues selling band merchandise.

To provide you with some friendly reminders, entry tickets cost $69 with an additional cost of $10 for parking on site. While there will be many options for food and refreshments, it is always wise to pack some water bottles as the festival takes place completely outdoors. Gates open at 11 a.m. both days which is exactly one hour before the first act. The venue is first come first serve; therefore plan on arriving early if you want front row seats. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy some great music on St. Patrick’s night under the Arizona stars.
