The restaurant is located on SE corner of Gilbert and Elliot.  The owners are from Southern California and give a new beach vibe to the town of Gilbert. Everything is beach inspired, to the decor to music down to the food.

Customers can walk in and feel the casual, laid back atmosphere just like the beach. Pictures of waves from the beach line the wall and many beach essentials like surfboards. The walls are painted like the blue sky at the beach. The restaurant has a cozy feel like taco shack with lots of outdoor seating.

Each famous fish taco comes with two tacos per order and a side of rice and beans. The tilapia fish taco made with soft, fresh meat with lemon pepper seasoning with a side of SoCal slaw and baja sauce.The Ahi Tuna is broiled to a nice perfection of juicy yet firm. It has a taste of tangy lime and cotija cheese.

SoCal also offers tacos not from the sea like carnitas, and carne asada, Both of the tacos were flavorful with tender meat topped with all the classics like cabbage, avocados, onion, and cilantro. They are  served with 3 warm tacos per order

Also, a great dish is the fish and chips. A flaky shell surrounding tender warm meat that melts in the mouth when dipped with ranch. Served with just-right fries that were crispy outside but chewy inside.

The steak salad has crunchy leaves with tender steak strips topped with tomatoes, avocados, and salsa ranch or lime vinaigrette dressing.

The homemade clam chowder is filled chewy clams and a cream rich potato base. It is an award winning recipe that is savory every bit.
